A violent wind storm raced through around 9 this morning. This large branch was broken off the top of my tallest Redbud tree and it landed 6 feet from the house. I am without internet and the app says it won't be back until after midnight. I'm not sure when tomorrow's post will appear.
Update: TV and internet were back on around 4:30 p.m. The next round of storms are due between 8 and 11 tonight. We need the rain but I hope this round is not as strong.

so glad it wasn't worse and didn't hit your house - but now another tree limb to deal with - hope your tree will be ok and glad that you!

Glad you are safe with no damage.
Glad you have a basement if the wind gets too strong. Storms at night are always scarier because of the dark. Rain is good - wind, not so much.
I hope the second storm wasn't as strong. They keep saying we're going to have big storms but they seem to bypass us 99.9% of the time.
Oh wow. I am glad it missed your house. I hope the rest of the rain comes as water and not in a storm.
