Cutting triangles...............

Finally the humidity has dropped and cool temperatures by night time.  Windows open again.

I'm continuing to cut up my Kaffe chunks into usable shapes.  I started with the chunks and strips that were too narrow to cut anything bigger than 2" finished and I cut all half square triangles yesterday.  Last night I started sorting them and sewed one batch.

Why do I like triangles so much?  Because you can do so many different things with them.  No plans yet, just lots of sewing ahead....and more cutting today.

Last night, it rained and brought cooler temps finally. Got to open the slider door this morning. I love triangles also. Those diagonal lines bring excitement in a square when sewn.

All the rain Wed-Thursday missed us, at least it was cooler Friday through most of next week(?). I have a few scraps I should deal with before they get any farther ahead of me. Nope - first comes finishing that center block for 19th Amendment quilt! I have at least one book that's nothing but HST options. It's what I'd call the little black dress of quilt blocks.
