A few changes...........

I made a few changes on the layout of this quilt yesterday to spread out the yellows and golds a little more.  Kaffe had a lot of yellow and gold prints in his first 20 years of fabrics and more than half of the strips in this quilt are his early fabrics.  After I took this photo I took down the rows and clipped them to prepare for sewing the top.

I am still picking the tomatoes as they show a little color.  I haven't seen as many squirrels in my yard the last few weeks but I'm not taking any chances.

The black raspberries are getting bigger.  They start out green, then red and finally turn black.

The tall bellflowers are in abundance everywhere on my property again this year.  The flowers are a more brilliant blue/purple than they look in the photo.

With the lovely rain yesterday and today your yard and my yard should look good! My flowers are starting to bloom. The deck garden pots are doing well, in fact better than the plants I put in the garden. I am taking a day of vacation on Friday and that should give me time to catch up on pulling weeds. With the rain today, Wednesday, and Thursday the ground will be nice and soft to make pulling easier.

Such a beautiful quilt top!

I love the look of your quilt and the bell flowers are gorgeous. We enjoyed a light rain this morning, and it was wonderful.

I love this top--oddly peaceful with all these busy fabrics.

Yesterday's layout wasn't bad, but today's really is better, Wanda! Nice work.

I agree with Lynn - even with all the busy color, this is a calming kind of quilt top.

I love the simpler designs which show off the fabrics, just as this quilt does. Are the strips 2" wide finished?
