Merry Christmas!....................

This photo was first on my blog in 2008.  I have a much better camera now but I decided to just recycle this photo.  My sister in law made this cookie jar for me when my kids were little (they are in their 50s now).  The only thing that is missing is the feather quill that he was writing with.
8 years ago I recycled the photo of the mat that Santa is sitting on and added the words.  Someone else owns this table mat now, I'm not sure who.  I gave away so many mats and tablerunners to family and friends.

It's hard to believe it is near the end of December with temperatures in the mid 50s but I'm not complaining.  Maybe I can clean up my garage tomorrow while it is still warmer.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year----hopefully a healthy new year for everyone.

Merry Christmas - it is so unusually warm here I woke up to 50 degrees and now might be close to 68 instead of sitting in watching movies and whatever I think at some point I will be taking a walk outside as well! we all need to enjoy the nice weather while we can they are calling for possible freezing rain next week

Merry Christmas Wanda! It is warm here too. It looks like creativity runs in the family with that Santa. And with the rug, it is a nice collaboration. I hope Santa has a new rug to keep his toes warm.

Merry Christmas Wanda. What an adorable cookie jar! Your sister-in-law must have taken ceramics, but this cookie jar must have been before my time. I took classes for a number of years, and then began my own classes in my basement, where I taught for 20 years.

Wishing you a happy Christmas Day . And is your vintage cookie jar filled with cookies now ? They just don't make them like that anymore, it really is a treasure..

I recycle my photos, I consider them to be my archive and besides people don't remember small details like that as a general rule.
I look forward to 2020 with you. Your bold color combinations inspire me!
Happy holidays to you and yours ~

Merry Christmas! What a nice delight to see your cookie jar. We have the same one - my grandmother made it in the early 1960's, also missing the quill feather. Happy New Year to you and your family, it is such a pleasure to follow your blog. Thank you for the time you spend sharing.

Merry Christmas to you! Your Santa is so sweet! I have a few ceramic Christmas pieces my Mom made and they mean a lot to me since she has been gone almost 19 years.

It is warm here too; 53 this afternoon. I got home from my son's house a few hours ago and I thought that since it was going to be 60 tomorrow I ought to work on cleaning up the garage and wash the car. I bet we won't be alone in our garage cleaning quest!
