When I came across this pattern I had to open it and assess whether I would really ever make it.
Added 8 a.m.--this is not paper piecing. Those are cutting lines and then regular piecing reassembles it.
I know I was drawn in by the colors, red, orange, gold and purple. I have done some Buggy Barn patterns in the past and the stacks of fabrics were about 8 or more fabrics deep and were hard to cut. This one has layers of just 4 fabrics and I doubt I would make it of flannel. This would make it a lot easier to cut if I decide to make it.
I made this flannel Buggy Barn pattern quilt top in 2008 or earlier. I showed it on my blog in 2008 and donated the top as a veteran's quilt. Vicki Welsh quilted it and finished it and took care of the donation part of it.
I made this Buggy Barn pattern flannel quilt about the same time and I quilted it early in 2008. This is the quilt on my bed right now.

I have learned to run as fast as possible from large paper piecing projects. Beautiful quilts, but beyond my frustration level.
I am certain you COULD do it, but I wonder if you really WANT to with all the other gorgeous non-PP projects in your studio.
That block has a lot of pieces to it! Like Quiltdivajulie said - I am certain you could do it but do you want to?
That is a gorgeous pattern!
What an intriguing design... I'll be interested in following your thoughts on whether to make this very stunning pattern! For me, one factor would be "how big is a finished block?"; four of these would be much more manageable than nine. If you do make this, though, it will be exquisite.
I'm not even going to try and guess if you'll make this pattern or not. It is a beauty, fabrics and design are stunning. I enjoyed seeing your other quilts again, that you've made from "Buggy Barn".

I loved that star quilt when you made it! I've done a couple of quilts with that technique but I don't think I would survive making one with this many pieces! To me it's an awkward technique.
I enjoy making Buggy Barn patterns. The results are often a surprise to me. I hope that you decide to make this quilt because I would love to see your fabric choices - always gorgeous and often surprising.
I have loved the Buggy Barn designs. They are perfect for flannel quilts.
