Binding chosen............

I finished quilting the floral colorwash and started looking for binding  I think this is the one I'm using but I'll look one more time today to be sure.

Here is one of the novelty fabrics used in this colorwash.

I finished basting colorwash # 4 and have one more to baste.  First I have to cut some batting and find a backing fabric.

I raked leaves for about an hour yesterday afternoon.  We have the big vacuum truck that comes around to pick up the leaves.  I'm planning on putting in another hour today while it is still warm (40s) since the temperature is going to drop into the 20s on Monday and Tuesday.  Normal average temperature is 51 at this time.

We are having the same cold front drop all the way down here... and snow too!!! Not normal temps for here this early. Really not looking forward to winter yet! But it will start on Monday here too!!! Those color wash quilts are so inspiring! Makes my fingers itch. Lucky you with the radiant heat in the basement!

You are making good progress on your color washes, Wanda . And yet taking time to clean up your leaves. We had a few warm days this week and I brought in all my garden Angels and decor, now I'm ready for whatever weather we get. I'm hoping since winter storms have come in early this fall I'm hoping we'll have an early spring. (^._,^)

I always enjoy seeing the colour bursting out of your oolourwash quilts and this one using what I think of as Hoffman style florals is beautiful.
