Basting and quilting...............

I basted some more on the colorwash I showed yesterday and then I decided to quilt this quilt.  I decided not to add a 2" red border to it and just get it finished.

I did a medium meander with light gray thread.  The binding will be the lighter of the 2 red prints.  I have it trimmed so hopefully the binding will be finished today.

There are 2 "sugar rush" moments in quilting: picking fabric and the last binding stitch. You are on a sugar high lately with all these finishes!

So beautiful. There is something about red quilts that really draw me to them. I have been eyeing the red French General fabric at Connecting Threads, but am resisting because I have plenty of fabric at home.

This is really a stunning quilt, just the right red and just the right grey, so perfect together ! I had forgotten about this quilt and I'm glad you brought to our attention again. (^._,^)

You are well on your way to another finish. Nicely done! The quilt doesn't look like it really NEEDED a border, anyway.

A very appealing combination of pattern, color and fabric!

Yet another gorgeous quilt. Love the fabric too.
