I pieced the squares into this little top a couple years ago. This heat saps my energy so all I was able to get done was layering and quilting this. I will finish the edge soon.
I had this piece laying with the top so I guess it was meant to be the back.
A couple days ago I took this photo of the Creeping Bellflowers. They are getting closer to the time to be pulled out. These are actually in the grass along the edge of the flower garden.
I watered my tomato plants and then tackled one area where lots of volunteer trees and bushes were growing in the back side of a bush. I didn't get all of them but probably 3/4 of them. Now they are saying our dewpoints will be in the low 60s as we go into four 90 degree days. All of the forecasters had been saying very humid so we will see which it will really be.

Cute little quilt!
For what it's worth, the forecast I use shows dew point in the upper 60s-70 for the next 4 days. Though I'm a couple hours away from you, so your weather can be completely different. And sunny. Which means I'll be looking for any good (or not so good) reason to not go out and tackle weeds.
76 here with 95% humidity--we were enveloped in fog this morning early, but now the sun has come out...
Neat little squares--they are tiny!!:)))

How nice that little piece of fabric jumped out to be used! Hope your forecast is wrong and you get some cooler weather.
What a sweet little quilt. Those are tiny blocks! Hot here too, but that is the norm. I hope your heat wave eases when we make our trip to Wisconsin.
What a delightful little quilt! You are so good at color wash quilts and I imagine you enjoy making them.
We're back up to 90*F today and the humidity is 87% so it's sweaty hot as we used to say when we were children.
I'll be sewing more scrappy 9 patches together since I've done my monthly chore of paying bills.
Hugs!
when I do 1.5" pieces they are never so nice and neat as yours :)
88 little gems beautifully blended! ❤️

Stunning little top…love its vibrancy. 90 degree plus in the mountains also but not your humidity. Internet power outage yesterday… couldn’t even leave a comment about your lush garden tour yesterday.
What a cute little piece! Stay cool!
Lovely quilt.
