LIttle progress...............

I spent a couple more hours cutting 2" squares of Kaffe collective fabrics yesterday morning and now have 5 stacks instead of 3 shown a couple days ago.  I had PT in the afternoon and afterwards sewed 4 more stratas of Marcia Derse fabrics for the 16 patch quilt.  I trimmed off sad looking branches on my tomato plants and pulled out some more of the Creeping Bellflower.

I know there is nothing exciting about showing the most recent dishcloth finish but this helps me keep a record of the colors I have used.

7 days of 90s now, and high, high humidity.  I was hoping for a cooler July after a hot June.

Nice stratas you have going there...;))) I like seeing your different colored dishcloths--they really come in handy I think..
55 here early this morning--now 68 --no dew at all, so the sidewalk guys should be here by 8:30 to finish up the sealant...hopefully!!
I am having a heck of a time sewing evenly on the first Kawandi row--yikes!! I took it out 2x now--no more!!--
It is what it is...maybe in the finished scheme of things it won't look too bad...all those flappy layers are hard to handle...sometime 4 deep!! It is a challenge...
hugs, Julierose

Our bedding and tomato plants look pretty sad upon our return too. I'm hoping that some trimming and heavy watering will revive them for the fall. As I unpack from our trip, I keep thinking how much I enjoyed our time together. The friendships we form blogging are the best reason to keep blogging and help with record keeping is another.

I like your strata and your pretty dishcloth. My tomato plants are toast, just need to pull them out. I long for fall.

PT and then some yesterday, I admire you for being able to get it all in with your sciatica acting up these past few weeks. Stratas are so interesting and they do reflect the same feeling as your dish cloth.

More lovely strips for the MD quilt! The dishcloth is pretty! I am behind in reading your posts. I have been busy.

nice fabrics! I cut back all of my tomatoes except two and I need to do those later tonight when I check for the last blackberries before dark. I know I have at least one handful left of blackberries to ripen. Maybe the tomatoes will grow back before fall? I wonder I haven't done this on poor plants before - normally I pull them out.

Love the beginning of this next quilt! Great fabrics, too, and I love the new pot holder!
Do you have a pair of Hot Gloves? They are made in all sizes (except for kids who don't cook!) and in a variety of colors and patterns. They are most excellent in getting hot things out of the oven and have good grips.
Our high today is 87*F and the humidity is 47%. What bliss!

Hugs!

It appears my sciatica has decided to flare again (sigh). This time it is affecting the thigh and calf of one leg. Makes the stairs a challenge. Doing my exercises and hoping for improvement! Glad yours is working for you.
