A decision had to be made for the binding. I chose 3 fabrics that I liked with the big rose backing fabric.
I narrowed it down to my two favorites. Either one would work well so I had to decide which one to use.
This one is my choice and I got it cut but not sewn on yet.
Saturday there was one pile of 2" squares. Now there are 3 piles. More cutting to happen.
The sunlight was coming from the west and created a glow on the top of the Brown-eyed Susan plants, to the right of the bird feeder. They are full of buds, almost ready to bloom. There are about twice as many plants as last year and they are at least a foot taller.

Great choice on the binding fabric!
I like your binding choice. That's going to be a glorious display of Brown-eyed Susans.
Eye-catching binding fabric you chose--it should really go well with your piece...;))
72 here with a nice northerly wind flow and lower humidity.
Looks like our sidewalk guys can come and finally finish sealing our front patio and walk area this afternoon...Another "upkeep" job to be crossed off of our list;)))

Binding is perfect for your quilt. And fun to see your choices. ~ The glow on your lush garden greenery, looks so nice and peaceful.
I was going to say I love that stripe fabric for binding and sure enough it was the one you picked out
I like the binding choice very much! Last night I picked up a box looking for something and said to myself - this box is heavy. What is in it? The box is full of 3 1/2 squares! I am going to have to get started on making some checkerboard quilts to try and use some of them up.
