There are decisions to be made on the other projects I have worked on lately so I sewed the binding onto the big neutral batik 16 patch quilt. This one was 72" x 96" before it was quilted so the binding will take a while to do. I'll start the hand stitching today between other things I need to do.
On other projects, I found 3 light Christmas fabrics I can cut 2" squares from so I can use up the remainder of the dark squares. I also took the floral star blocks off the design wall in columns pinned together. I'm not sure how I want to proceed with it so it's getting a time out for now.
We finally got above freezing yesterday and had rain. lt is predicted to get even warmer the next couple days and then back in the 20s by Thursday.

Love your work and it was 68 here yesterday and will stay that way for several more days, thank goodness...
Happy Sunday

Perfect binding fabric on those neutrals, Wanda--I am just sewing --I cannot get into any patterns right now. Maybe a bit of Improv is what I need...and I have amassed a whole lot of solids over the years and have really never used them much...need to address that...
20 degrees here and the sun is rising--a bit overcast though...
Hugs for a happy Sunday, Julierose
Pretty batiks! Wish it was going to be colder here. It will be in the low 70s today - ick.
It rained last evening as I drove us to the College of Lake County for a concert. Fortunately the temperature stayed in the mid-30's so no ice!
I remember having the fabric that you show for binding at one time but the piece I had was shades of brown.
Nice big quilt to keep your fingers flying on the binding. Your weather forecast sounds just like ours for the week.
What fun to have a variety of sewing projects on the go so you can cut, hand stitch, or use your sewing machine so something is already ready for you!
Stay snug!
Hugs!
