Only 5 more stars.............

I intended to sew six more floral stars but realized one of the groups was missing dark triangles.  More cutting needed today.

I need light triangles for 5 more blocks and dark triangles for four.  I haven't pressed any of the blocks yet so I'll take care of that today too.

I'm getting really good at taking crooked photos.  I can't say that the blocks are straight on the wall though.  I like this top block.

This is the last of the five that were sewn.  I could just stop after I sew one more block because it would make a total of 30 blocks.  (60" x 72").

I still have tomatoes in various stages of ripening.  Our first freeze was later this year so I had an extra amount of time to leave them on the plants.

It was 39 today and 51 predicted for Sunday.  But then there is today which will struggle to get to the low 20s.

Pretty blocks, and I really, really like that last block. Those are some good looking tomatoes. I think you are having all the cold weather this year. I read yesterday that nothing arctic was on the horizon for us. Ugh.

I spy a patio table & chairs, how fun. Hard for me to choose a favorite. Its currently 20 but feels like -1 here due to wind gusts of up to 40 mph, brrrrrr!

Lovely flower centers to those stars -- and that summer garden spot center is really neat!!
37 here and we had .61" of rain overnight...I understand that tomorrow we will be in another deep freeze with high winds...Tom has gone by himself to BJ's to get bulk items for us as I have started with quite the head cold!!
Hugs, Julierose

We have the last of the fresh tomatoes, too. Gotta clear out the refrigerator because Rotary citrus comes in on Sunday.

Wow ~ five new sensational blocks to add to this quilt top. Looking forward to the final layout. Home grown tomatoes in December 😋 .

amazed to see fresh tomatoes still but then I need to remember that I start growing mine much earlier in the spring and then it gets way too hot here to bother growing them still in late summer and I give up on them

LOVE the block with the garden table and chairs and the other stars are a delight, too. Am not sure about the block that usually appears in the upper right corner of the pictures of the group of bocks as the star is sort of lost to the busy background fabric. Hope it finds its place in somewhere in the final layout!
We have a high in the upper 40s*F today but it is so windy it feels much colder. To our surprise, we had sleet yesterday.

Hugs!
