I am fascinated by the Tilda fabrics and the soft, quiet look of them. I think a quiet quilt (or 2 or 3) might be next. I can see most of the prints used in a 16 patch or an 18 patch, and maybe a quilt of a variety of pieces and parts with the larger prints fussy to cut to show off their designs.....maybe sawtooth stars and log cabin blocks and a few other traditional blocks and some 4 patches. Some of these pieces are fat quarters, some half yards and a few one yard pieces. I have 1 more green piece I found on sale that will be put into the mix when I receive it.
These 2 are from an older line and I was glad to find them.
This is the other large print. Now I need to press all of these fabrics to get the fold lines out and then I can start cutting. Sewing will probably start in January.
Yesterday I finished the 4th table runner and I wrapped 3 of them and delivered them and.....I forgot to take a photo of all 4 of them together. One of them is mine unless I need a last minute gift. I still have the remainder of the squares to sew into one more table topper, maybe a square one.
Yesterday my 20 1/2 year old van turned 74000 miles. It had turned 73000 on Sept. 27, 2023....15 months to drive 1000 miles. I just hope it continues to run well for another 1000 miles.

I have just recently bought a FQ bundle of Tilda fabrics. They are beautiful and I’m surprised you found some on sale. Miles don’t add up when you don’t travel far but only 74,000 miles is incredible for a 20 1/2 yo vehicle. Happy Christmas Eve.
nice fabrics indeed...my subaru died earlier this year...and life is very unpleasant without that freedom i can tell ya...
I love Tilda fabrics too, those in your photos are so, so pretty. I just told my husband about your van, and he shook his head and said it was amazing!
I just recently discovered Tilda fabrics. I am going to start a quilt made with Tilda in January too! I love the story about your van! Merry Christmas, Wanda!!
This is a fabric line I have never used. It will be fun to see what you do with it.
I recently purchased the Tilda fat quarter bundle and have been wondering what pattern to use. I will certainly be following you to see your choice of pattern. Perhaps you'll have a quilt along started with all of us who have this fabric? Fingers crossed for your continued use of your van! Merry Christmas!

I have lovingly looked at many of the Tilda fabrics but have resisted adding any of them to my stash. I'm afraid I would buy them and never cut into them. Happy to see you playing with yours!
Love that Tilda fabric--those larger prints are so special--they will really make a lovely piece...
Snowing here at 29 degrees--so peaceful and quiet...everything is all set except for our table....having a restful cup of coffee...guests expected after 2 pm...hugs for a wonderful Christmas Eve--Julierose
After seeing so many pretty quilts of Tilda fabrics, then seeing the fabric in stores and being ambivalent about them, a FQ bundle finally jumped into my hands and stuck the landing last spring. I have not yet cut into them, not sure what I'll make. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with them.
I have never seen Tilda fabrics before until today, I live in a big quilting area and surprised I’ve not seen them before in the shops. They are beautifully different than other fabric prints .
The Tilda prints remind me of designs by Tammis Keefe. I have a number of hankies and towels and other linens by her -- no Tildas, though. You've beaten Stevens with low mileage -- his 2020 Kicks is now at 10,120 miles.
For some unknown reason, I bought a bundle of Tilda prints and a bundle of the geometrics that went with them. I have been staring at them, not knowing what to make of them for over a year. I had scraps from Maureen that I turned into a comfort quilt, but no more ideas. Hopefully, you will spur me on to figure it out.
I wish I could save the gas money you are saving! If I lived in town I wouldn't be putting near the amount of mileage on mine either - as I have gotten older I don't drive as much as I used to. No Tilda fabric in my stash
No Tilda fabric for me either. But I will definitely be on the lookout. My car is 20 years old too. Love it. Great on gas.
I have a small collection of Tilda fabrics to make their HenHouse free pattern. That will be in the new year! Merry Christmas ❣️🌲
What interesting fabrics and I, too, haven't heard of the Tilda line. That's what happens when you stop taking quilting magazines and stop buying fabric in an effort to use what abundance I have. I look forward to seeing how you use these charming fabrics!
My 1995 Subaru died recently to my sorrow.
Wishing you and your family a joyous Christmas and a wonderful New Year. May it be wonderful for everyone.
Hugs!
I don't have any Tilda fabric in my stash, but they sure are beautiful. It is amazing that your van is still rolling! I would be still driving my Eclipse but the winter salt took its toll. It did last 15 years. Have a wonderful holiday season!
