8 new floral stars...........

I found out my old computer in the basement, which I only used for embroidery designs, will still recognize my camera.  I tried taking photos with my smartphone but when I emailed them to myself they were dull and dark even though they looked great on the phone.  So on to yesterday's sewing: these 8 are the newest blocks.

I have 24 blocks now which would be 48" x 72" (close to my chosen size to make, 50" x 70").  I have 6 more blocks ready to sew which would then be 60" x 72".  I have 5 more that just need a few more dark triangles and that would be 60" x 84".  I need to move some blocks around, this is just in the order that I sewed them.  I'll probably sew all of the star blocks and make the decision on size later.  I could always use the extras on the back, or make table runners.

It might get above freezing today but then a cold front is coming in at the end of the day and we might have single digit temperature Thursday morning.  Sunday sounds good, in the 40s.

I like the garden gate star :) We are supposed to get a couple of inches of snow tonight into tomorrow with some strong winds. I’ll believe it when I see it.

Your floral stars are so pretty! Especially when the weather is changing to winter. We've had below freezing nights for several days now - but it is supposed to warm up and rain by early week. Sheesh - I wish it would go one way or the other for the sake of our sinuses.

I dislike problems with my phone and computer I never quite know how to take care of them.

A few weeks ago I pitched the Sony digital camera that I got in 2008. I use my phone and iPad now.......How nice to have a flowerbed that doesn't need weeding!

Each one of your star blocks is a standout alone. All together they are breath taking….. You always can see the beauty in combining fabrics.

I really like these star blocks. It has been kind of misty here all day with tems in the 50s. A good day to stay in and sew. So, that's what I'm doing.

What a treat to see so many quickly made stars as you move forward with your incredible sewing speed!! This quilt top will be finished in no time and well before New Year's Day. You're amazing!

Hugs!
