Where this year stands..................

Eleven of the quilt tops that I finished this year were WIPs with either some or all of the blocks already pieced or pieces already cut.  I have made 26 quilt tops so far this year, and I'm sure there will be more.

I have finished 28 quilts so far this year, just 2 short of the number finished last year.  I gave 2 to my longarm friend last week so potentially I can tie last year's total without finishing any more for the rest of the year (but I hope that I will get more finished since I still have 38 tops waiting in line).  I'm limiting the amount of time that I stand on concrete floors in the basement to keep hip pain at a minimum, 0 pain some days, mild pain some others.  Lots of hours down there = discomfort.  I have the foam puzzle piece flooring in many of the areas down there and that helps a little.  I have anti-fatigue mats in key areas, by the ironing table and by the die cutter.  So, on I go, making more quilts.

Yesterday and today are baking days, once again anticipating the family visiting from a state away this weekend.

That is a whole lot of quilts, Wanda--and 38 in line to be finished up? Gosh, I am having trouble finishing up my last two hanging in my closet. Just no mojo lately...standing is an issue with me also. I hope you don't overdo now....I am enjoying my slow stitching--just a bit each day...
61 here early this morning- but -I see our surrounding trees are starting to blow around so that cold front is coming through...
Hugs, Julierose

I love your collages. They are so colorful and inspirational:). Concrete is hard on knees and back….same for changes in the weather.

you have accomplished so much - I wouldn't even try to make that many and you finish so many it is a wonder

Aren't you delighted to see your finished quilts in their wonderful variety of colors and patterns?! They make me curious what glorious colors and creative patterns will be found among the 38 quilt tops in waiting!
It will be just a few degrees above freezing here tonight. Yikes!

Hugs!

Such a striking menagerie of quilts! I have some anti fatigue mats by my long arm and they do not help a great deal. I have to take lots of breaks.

I knew you were having a great year but I didn’t realize just how much you have accomplished. Way to go!
