One more step.................

All 24 strip sets are at this stage now, ready to cut into 2 strips of rectangles.  I need to find 16 more fabrics for 8 more pairs.  I'm trying to decide whether to repeat some of the fabrics.

The new NCIS shows were on last night so I had 3 hours to sew.

One of my white cacti has 2 buds on it.  This is the time of year that the first buds form.  I need to get busy and repot a couple of them.  This morning I have my wound check from pacemaker surgery and then I can get busy on some projects.  I need to cut another batting and make another backing.

My white cactus has buds too! This was a plant that a friend gave me a couple of years ago after Christmas. Her daughter had bought it for her but my friend gave it to me... said she would just kill it.

Your greens are looking great.
I miss having Christmas cactus; they are glorious in bloom. With 5 cats, it's just too risky.

I don't see any buds as yet on my cacti, but there are new leaves (are they called leaves, those sections?) forming...
Nice strip sets all ready to go;))
38here this morning--and it's getting chillier every day now...starting to get some red leaves on our trees...hugs Julierose

My cacti have not started putting on buds yet. They are always a treat when they bloom.

Your array of strips are so exciting, I so look forward to seeing this one up on your design wall. And OMG some new buds on your cactus already. It’s that time of year.

I have never had a white Christmas Cactus - I need to start keeping eye out for these and other colors - two of my plants are so big one with buds one without. A smaller one was doing well but then when I picked it up to move it about 2 months ago from where I had it half of it fall off and you could tell it had rotted, I was watering it too much - I tried to root that part but it didn't take

I think I have a few buds on my Thanksgiving cactus. Last year it was in full bloom by November 11 so I have my fingers crossed.
