Pink............

Since I finally had all of the loose pieces of the last project off the design wall I vacuumed the studio and then put the pink pieces up.  I wanted to see if I had enough or needed to cut some more pinks.  I have all of the corners already cut.  I need 6 more elongated hexagons so I'll check to see which fabrics I have left.  I think I want some more of the darker pinks rather than the really pale ones.

My low tire light has been coming on about every 6 weeks so my son finally took it in to the dealer to have it checked and there was a piece of metal embedded in the tread giving it a slow leak.  He ran it through the car wash on the way back.

My toilet was having some issues lately and I finally broke down and called a plumber.  It was just a gasket replacement.  He showed me the old one with a huge curve to it.  He said they are supposed to be totally flat.  The old one was sealing part of the time and leaking the rest of the time.  Luckily all of the leak was in the bowl and not on the floor.  Two good things taken care of plus a clean floor in the studio.  That is a good day.

It is those nagging items that can drain your energy. Thanks to the plumber and your son who made them all better. The pinks are cheerful and varied.

It will be nice to know that the tire and toilet are fixed. The pink quilt is so darn pretty!

X & O is a sweet baby quilt. Just looking at it gives a warm cozy feeling that baby will love.

Happy you were able to get car tire and toilet back in good running order.

Glad to hear that your son and the plumber were able to take care of those jobs for you (so that you could take care of the studio and the next quilt, Wanda!)

Your pinks are progressing beautifully Wanda. Great going. Though reading a few of your recent humps of tires and toilets and WiFi- oh my! Your plate is full yet you always come back here smiling. Hopefully that new modem will take care of that issue.
Happy Easter.
