Yesterday was mostly a day of rest but I did turn on the iron and got some of these fabrics pressed, cut with my die cutter and sewn. I spent a considerable amount of time trying to find the first 2 sewn blocks and finally found them under a couple fabrics on the end of my sewing table.
My Bleeding Heart is looking good.
The big medium pink Columbine is getting big with a new shoot growing up the middle that I think is where buds will soon form.
The earliest Hardy Geranium with the pale lavender flowers has its first blooms. The other 2 varieties in the front garden are just small plants so far.
The earliest Peony has good size buds. I even saw some ants crawling on the buds.
The Redbuds are still at the same stage as last week. We're due for a couple hot days so maybe they will open then.

Lovely garden buds and blooms ;)))
Nice you got a lot of pieces cut and sewn...
We are due for a warm up this week they say...we'll see...

I hate that when I know I just had something... and then can't find it... It wastes so much valuable time and energy! We have had a nice spring so far, getting the garden in is the next big chore!!! Our redbuds have been done (those that get sun) and are leafing out. The ones in among the trees still have flowers, but that will change after today's temps... upper 70s.
I like it when cool weather suspends our redbud blooms—more time to enjoy! That branch looks so pretty. Soon you’ll have those sweet little heart leaves. 💚💚
That is a lot of pieces and parts! They are going to make some lovely blocks! Despite the cooler weather, things in your yard are growing nicely!
"Dido" ~ Patti A said it all. 😉

I'm loving the color palette for this quilt!
The fresh greens of spring always make my heart leap with joy. Blogging lets me enjoy that degree of green over and over without leaving home as the season starts in different geographical locations.
Can't wait for the peonies to bloom! Love the white Bleeding Heart, Ive only ever seen the dark pink ones here.
