I sewed the last four blocks yesterday and then spent a couple hours moving blocks around to distribute the fabrics. Since there are anywhere from 4 to 8 pieces of each print it was a challenge. I did the best I could and then sewed it all together. The lighting is not even, the bottom half is farther from the light source. It is approximately 54" x 72" and will get a dark Marcia Derse print for binding.
I will have my monthly recap post tomorrow. If I can finish the Friendship star blocks and get that top sewn together I will have 6 finished tops for the month. No completely finished quilts though. I will have a nice bunch of easy ones to quilt in May with these new tops.

The chisel star top turned out fabulous. Those are very pretty Kaffe fabrics. It is nice that they are more one color than the ones in the past. Have fun playing with those!

I really like the way the star top has come together. I tend to see the star portion as background and the colored fabrics as making wonderful ziggy turns. I may have to start giving away fabrics so I can get more Kaffe!

The stars look super. Those Kaffes certainly beg some attention to play.
I totally agree about many of the newest KFC fabrics - fun to use without quite so much color spread.
This piece has stolen my heart, the stars glow on the dramatic chiseled background..
And your array of fabrics... I'm sure you'll create another beauty with them.

Definitely agree with your thoughts on the new KF Collective fabrics, I love the hydrangea design even though the flowers are huge!
