Binding finished................

I found a flannel stripe for the binding on this flannel quilt.  I didn't get the binding done until 9:30 last night so I'll do photos today.  I made the quilt top in 2024 but didn't have anything I liked for the back.  I found a good match for it on sale last year and now it is finished this year.

I'm so happy for each and every one of the cacti blooms since there are so few of them in this second blooming time.

This white with pink edging looks mostly pink in the low light in the morning by the west window.

We ended up with another quarter inch of rain so there was 1" total.  We need a lot more than that and there is some more in this week's forecast, but first we will have 2 warm days in the 60s, sunshine predicted.

Great find for your binding, Wanda--!:)))
43 here and foggy...the snow is finally evaporating in this fog...
DST: Back to darker mornings and lighter evenings--I wish they would decide and stay with one or the other--this whole change twice a year always takes a lot of getting used to...
I have one little flower on my cactus, too...hugs, Julierose

Such a beautiful bloom. They really are spectacular flowers considering the plant themselves look scraggly. Sometimes finding a perfect flannel is difficult as there aren’t as many flannels produced.

We had .95 inches of rain yesterday - today is very gray, heavy clouds, and at least 15 degrees cooler than before the rain came. Good job getting that flannel quilt finished -- the right fabric can make all the difference in our motivation.

The binding compliments it nicely, oir weather is back to high wind storms & rain

love the flowers on the cacti. I have had a longer second flowering time than normal on two of the plants and they have been flowering for over a month now - soon all will have dropped off.

Another finish ! Binding couldn’t be any better for this one. Cacti blossom so pretty… I didn’t get a second round ~ seeing yours makes me smile.

We do NOT need more rain! I need the ground to dry out so I can start spreading the 10 truckloads of mulch. I can't drive the truck in the yard yet.
