There were more black/irory Marcia Derse fabrics that I thought I should audition for the sashing on the table runner.
I put 4 of the 5 crazy pieced blocks on top of them. I may have to remove the light strips on the edge of 2 of the blocks and replace them with something darker.
I turned the two with light edge strips to touch other fabrics.
It got up to 69 degrees yesterday at our local high school Weatherbug station. Two more 60+ days today and tomorrow. This is the right weather for the first day of spring for a change. Usually it is a cold day.

ooh love those black and whites!!
You sure have a lot of fabrics to choose from! I am looking forward to the warmer temperatures after that cold spell we just went thru!
Don't think there's a need to change the light edge strips--there is still enough contrast and they integrate the blocks with the background. Looking good!
I guess you’ll keep noodling it out until you find the right combo :) Lovely first day of spring here as well…….so lovely!
Lovely MD B&W fabrics to choose from, Wanda--
39 here--hoping on this first day of Spring to see the temps climb into the 50's perhaps...longing for warmer (not hot tho') weather...
"Have walking foot, will quilt"...is my mantra for today...I think just straight lines--but small bits at a time for me..
hugs for a great weekend...Julierose
It was fun to see your sashing choices you are working with. The choice is yours to companion with your crazy blocks. I know you’ll select the right one.
We sure have broken all records for a warmest winter on record…and for two days in a row it hit 80 degrees here in the mountains of MT. !
A radical idea -- use some of all of those b/ws. I like the arrangement of the crazy blocks on top of the assortment.
I like the white/black with the crazy blocks it looks great.
I don't know which of the prints I like the most - have fun deciding!
