Trimming and ditch quilting..................

This quilt came home from the longarmer yesterday and I got it trimmed last night.  I'll choose binding today.

I chose the thread to quilt the Hunter Star table runner.  All of the fabrics in the runner are from one fabric, an ombre print by Nancy Crow.

With two TV shows to watch last night, I finished the ditch quilting on the table runner.  I'll trim it today and choose its binding.

Rain expected today in 2 waves.  I hope we get more than we got 2 days ago which was only a few hundredths of an inch in the rain gauge.

Interesting table runner you made from the ombré Nancy Crow fabric. I would not have thought to use the one fabric but it looks great. We received a lot of rain from the waves that came through yesterday. I’m hoping we get to see the sun today.

We got lots of rain overnight (for us .50 is a lot of rain ) but our front yard still has a 4+" of snowpack on it...that Siberian cold front that came through right after our blizzard iced us in for sure...37 here today and hopefully melting snows...
Hope you have fun choosing the binding fabric...pretty Crow fabric --looks great in your piece...hugs, Julierose

Lots of good things happening in your studio - a quilt and a table runner ready for binding. Your ditch quilting is SO good.

Fine finishes for you! It's been foggy the past couple of days. I have an appointment in Northbrook this afternoon and hope the fog will lift, and that I get home before the rain (and maybe hail).

I look forward to seeing your binding finishes… they always finish off a top like what frosting does to a cake.
