Down to three...................

I removed all of the fabrics that had a stripe pattern from yesterday's choices.  That narrowed it down to 3.

This one might show the best contrast between the light edge strips and the sashing fabric.

This is the original fabric I showed a couple days ago.  Now I just need to study these photos and make  my decision.

My niece was in town visiting her parents so I invited her over to choose a couple baby quilts for her first grandchild, a little girl.  This was her choice for the baby's house.

And this was her choice for a quilt at her house.

It got up to 74 degrees yesterday and today might be in the 70s too.   It was nice to have all of the windows open for most of the day. Tomorrow's high will be at midnight with temperatures dropping through the afternoon.

Ooh, those are good ones…hard to choose. I really like that first background fabric as a print and so I’d probably pick that one, lol. Your niece picked lovely quilts. The pink flannel will be so cozy.

My pick for the table runner would be fabric #2. I like the size of the black and white design with the pieced blocks!

#2 is my choice. Both baby quilts are lovely!

I like 2 or 3 for the runner. The first one is the yardage I like most but not for this use. So happy the baby quilts have found homes.

I hope you select my choice for your table runner sashing and I will wait till tomorrow to wait and see if we’re in sync . 😏. Lovely quilts you’re gifting away.

I'm going to refrain from adding my 2 cents to the background debate. We are apparently not destined to enjoy the warmer temps you had, as we are staying cold, gloomy and wet for at least the next 7 days. I guess that's good because it will keep the plants and bushes from jumping ahead too quickly. We even had a touch of snow this early AM, although it's gone now.

I think that middle fabric will look really good. Nice baby quilts. Too hot here!

#1 was my first choice when you showed more fabrics and it still is, no distraction from the blocks. I deleted my first comment, a spelling mistake.!!!

You didn't ask for any input but I'll add my 2 cents. I love all your background fabfics. Maybe it's the lighting, but I think your blocks really stand out on fabric #2.

A friend did a scrappy much like this and used whites. I thought of a solid too -- black, but then you are noted for exuberant color -- so go with your heart!! Every post makes me feel like heading for my sewing machine!!
