Sashing and cornerstones...........

The Bear Paw top is sewn together so now it is time to audition for border fabric.  This is the first piece I pulled out and I like it so I'm not sure how many more fabrics I will try.  Click to see a larger photo.  I really need to prepare something for machine quilting so that is today's project.

I don't think you need to look any further--that border fabric is perfect!

I can believe you have that top all sewn together already! That was fast and it looks wonderful. That border fabric looks good! It picks up so many of the colors in the blocks.

I really like how the narrower strips and cornerstones form other crosses over the whole piece...I am fond of "cross-type" quilts or ones with crosses in them...nice work hugs, Julierose

The texture of all the batiks looks "marble-ous"!

I really like the cornerstone fabric. It provides a subtle spark without screaming, "Hey! Look at me! I'm a cornerstone." Nice choice, Wanda.
