3 more............

It is so much fun choosing which fabrics will go together in the X and + blocks.  The plus on the bottom block is a rare older Kaffe print of which I only had a quarter yard.  I had to remind myself: use the good stuff....don't leave it for the estate sale.

I decided to buy a couple new Hostas.  This is the spot where I planted the Delphinium and the Shaggy Orange Coneflower last year and neither came up this year.  I decided it needed a mostly white Hosta here.

This lime green one is called Stained Glass and has a darker green edge.  I didn't have anything quite like it.  I planted it where the perennial carnation didn't come up this year.  It is a nice contrast with the darker greens.  I planted them about 4 days ago and was happy that we got an inch of rain between 2 storms yesterday.

Those lighter hosta give good definition to your garden. Mine are blooming now. Good thought about using that Kaffe print, I think it’s time for me to start using some of my good fabrics too.

Love, love your comment, "Use it, don't leave it for the estate sale". So very right.

I agree, that is one gorgeous piece of fabric, on the screen it looks almost translucent.

Your gardens always look so lush.

More pretty blocks!

The white hosta looks so pretty nestled in there.

I'm so way behind with reading blog posts, just catching up but I am enjoying seeing your blocks each post, they're real beauties. I have great fun spotting the fabrics that are in my KF collection.
Your garden plants seem to be enjoying the summer weather although the rain does make a heck of mess with hydrangeas, my dahlias suffer when e have the rain.
