All 35 blocks on the wall.............
I finally turned the iron on and pressed the last block and a pile of items laying on the ironing board. I can already see 2 blocks I want to exchange with each other. Seeing the photo really helps to refine a layout. This is the same size as the first X and + quilt I made.
I pulled out lots of the invasive tall bellflowers at the beginning of the growing season but there are still lots of them left to bloom.
The small lilies in one of the flower beds in the backyard are blooming now. They get more sun in the west than the ones in the front east bed.

Gorgeous blocks! It has been a joy seeing them multiply and come together.
This is such a beautiful top, I see nothing wrong with it, yet I know when you tweak it, it will be perfect. Those lilies are really pretty, I don’t have any yellow ones. Aren’t these Stella d’orea or something like that?
Wow—love it!
The quilt top is so pretty and colorful! The garden is looking great and adding the whiteish hosta will add another layer of color in that area. My coneflowers are doing well. I did buy another three plants this past weekend. I am trying to get that big front bed cleaned up so I can do more rock work, add more dirt, then rearrange the coneflowers with the new ones to make more of a impact. It is just too hot to work out there in the evenings until after 7 which is when I am getting ready for bed since I get up so early. The lower humidity and cooler temps were sure a relief over the last couple of days!
I do not have a wall for placing my quilt blocks . . . but I can see where it would be very helpful. I just have so much stuff that I would have to get rid of to make room to clear a wall. I have a sister-in-law that says she can't do without having a wall. Do you use yours with every quilt?
This quilt is absolutely beautiful, I love, love, love are the many mixes of fabric and color. It is so cheerful:)
Happy stitching.

I had to go back to yesterday's post to make sure I wasn't seeing things. You added an entire verticle row. The one block that was waiting to be pressed, bought this piece to perfection.

I think the layout looks just fine. Great actually.
I've had your blog post open on my screen for the past couple of hours and keep looking at the picture of the quilt - it is fabulous. I'm immediately drawn to all the wonderful colours in it and the overall happy feel of it. Another Wanda masterpiece almost finished!
