Last night I started the hand stitching on this binding. I only got half of one long side done but I will stitch a little every night.
In the morning I ran the dishwasher (and emptied it) and did a load of laundry. In the afternoon I made some fudge.
I also got the pale pink Spritz made. The second tray got a little too brown on the bottom but that is the way I like them, so some of these are for me.
My rain gauge had a half inch of rain in it from Saturday. Then there was fog yesterday morning. It was a gray weekend. The month is half over so that means the end of the year is a little over 2 weeks away and we will be entering the last year of the first quarter of the century. Does that seem possible?

Where do the years go? I swear they speed up every year. Sounds like you were the busy holiday elf!
"The last year of the first quarter of the century" Well when you put it that way, it seems astounding! That fudge looks delicious. I'd eat a "loaf" of it straight away.
I hadn't really thought of this being the end of the first quarter of the century I swear as we get older the months and years fly by. Nice baking! The girls will be here on Saturdays and we are celebrating our Xmas then and doing baking on the same day lol - something different.
Your days are always fun to hear about and see your photos. I agree weeks are like days and months are like weeks anymore. Old Father Time does not slow down.
