More fair pictures.....................
I like the quilt on the left for the bright colors and batik fabrics.
Lots of variety in this picture. You can't tell where one category ends and the next begins.
Fabric purses and totes are really popular now and I have never seen so many entered in the fair. This is just half of them.
Here are more and I'm not sure I even got pictures of all of them. Knitting is popular too. Here are the baby items and adult items.More sweaters and scarves. There is a whole pole barn building dedicated to just collections. There are plates
and spoons and milk bottles. I was raised on a dairy farm so I never saw milk bottles until I got married and moved to town. All I saw were the huge metal milk cans that the milk was shipped in from the farm to the dairy. When I moved to town we had milk and butter delivery at our house. There were lots of different dairies in this area so there is a large variety in these collections. I have some more pictures for tomorrow. I will be working at the fair Sunday morning so at lunch time I will eat out there. Do I want a Pronto Pup or an Elephant Ear, or both? And maybe a lemon shake up.

Don't you hate when quilts and handbags are displayed like that? You really can't see the design very well.

What a wonderful fair! Lots of stuff to see. But I guess I do agree with Vicki, I wish they would display the handmade items where you can see them a little better. Love all the collections too. I say you have both to eat tomorrow!

Have fun at the fair! Hubby and I were going to try to get down there tomorrow, but we won't be able to. Thanks for the virtual tour of the quilts :)

Hi Wanda, The Pork tenderloin sandwich at United church was real good, I might go back today for more.
I need to go and look at the bags again, and check out the quilts once more.
Thanks for showing me what I missed. It's going to be hot so bring lots of water.

I vote for taking your digestive enzymes along and having all three! ;)

There sure are a lot of entries in these categories at your fair! I keep forgetting how many much more densely populated your part of Illinois is than where I live! Thanks for posting the photos and enjoy your day tomorrow!

AHhhh~ the fair... we have been gone for over 43 years but every year at this time... my heart is at the Fair.

We have been back a time or two for the fair throughout the years. And I always head for the needle artwork first.

And for you to give us a photo shoot in the 'Women's Building' of the last couple days just makes me smile. It was nice thankyou.

p.s. can you tell I am catching up tonight with many of he posts I missed this past week. I will have to do the same again next week.

Wow! People collect milk bottles? I thought they were quintessentially English! We have to rinse and return, not collect, over here!

Hey Wanda,

What memories. As a child in 4-H I was a participant and blue ribbon winner at the Sandwich Fair. I love that the buildings are still the same. One year I need to get back there and take a visit!
Thanks for the photos - how cool!

I can see how one could spend hours just looking at everything!
