It was a great class

The students really got into the designing part of the class. Here are 2 layouts of each student's blocks.

They chose the layout they liked best as the final one. We just played with 16 blocks in the beginning so everyone could do the same layout at the same time. Most of the layouts are diagrammed in the book (Strips that Sizzle) and we just had to follow them.
Today a friend is coming over to use my big tables to baste a quilt and I am planning on getting some cutting done.

I love the idea of a class just to play with layouts and to see what everyone else did. And I absolutely am in love with the last blue one, the squares!

Quilting has to be one of the most creative arts. Each one is an expression of the person who made it and therefore unique and wonderful. As the others said, I wish I was in your class too!

You certainly share more than any other teacher I know. And seeing what students produce in your class has to be very gratifying for you.

All lovely, but I think that I love the reds and golds the best.

They all enjoyed your class as usual. Wish I could get a day off so I could take a class. My boss won't let me. Thanks Wanda. XOXO Sandy

It's amazing how different they all look in different colours. The variation in layouts is fascinating and you have to really look carefully to realise they are all from the same blocks.
