It is quite light and bright with only a few of the darkest greens.
I know I will have to make one in the zig zag pattern but I might wait and make it out of all of the leftover blocks from both groups. Someone reminded me that I have the On Demand feature with the digital box from Comcast so I checked it out and one of the shows I missed seeing was on the list so I watched it while piecing the blocks. I was surprised how many shows I normally watch that aren't on their list though. I will still have to catch them on my computer until I can figure out the VCR problem.

You continue to use colors that are so amazing together! I love to come visit and see what you're putting together. LOVE the green/purple, in all of the combinations of blocks.
Rich and wonderful!
I love the zig zag. I'm a sucker for that pattern.
Missed programs ... try
fancast.com
it has lots of programs and movies too. You will have to register.
I think that the green and purple combo is my favorite so far. I just love them together. They remind me of Irises. Yes, that on demand feature is terrific. We tend to use it quite a bit. Lots of stuff is free too.
love these colors. Again, it looks like fun to play with the layout.
They all look so beautiful. I can't believe the many options with that block.
For some reason I really like the zig zag setting of the green and purple blocks.
Each arrangement of blocks is so different that I would have a really hard time saying which I like best, but I think it's the first one. You can't go wrong with this color combo though. Purple, green and yellow work no matter what!
Oh the combination of purples and greens is so beautiful and I love the zig zag pattern the best! They are all great though.
Aw, ya gotta make enough blocks to finish that ist layout -- it's stunning!!!!! Not that the other's aren't great, but that star just glows.
Wow!!! Just love the purple and green combo. The first one is my favorite but they are all great.
I love the top layout, but then, I suppose I would. I love stars!
Striking color combination!! I like the star.
I love the first layout, but they are all great! The zigzag one looks interesting too, but stars are my favourite! I love them all and wouldn't know which one to pick.
Love the green and purple combo and the first layout is my favorite because it looks like expanding stars.
You make such beautiful quilts.
Thanks for sharing.

Anna
Glad that you found the disappearing nine patch helpful.I am sure you have lots of beautiful fabrics to use that will make an interesting 9 patch quilt.
I have lots more charm squares to sew together that could be used in a scrappy one- it was interesting to see the difference when one used a scrappy palette versus using a set palette with repeating fabrics. I will be interested to see your new version/s..
The star layout is very striking. Very breath-taking! The colours you chose are awesome. Thanks for the eye-candy.
Hey I'm not anonymous. I hit the wrong key. I'm just a crappy keyboarder!
All the purple and green combinations are lovely!
All the quilt layouts are great. Thank you for showing us these layouts. It is great to see someone else's designs. If I am working alone, I don't think of all the possibilities. That is why I like taking classes. It is fun to see what other's will discover using the same basic block design.
Wow -- the green and purple absolutely sparkles and glows! I like all the layouts, but the first and last one on this post are really spectacular!
Hi Wanda,
It's amazing how much depth is created with your fabric choices!
I like the star the best, but the boxes is great, too.
And at night the quilt could double as a night light!

These are beautiful, I love this color combination so much. (if I said the same thing yesterday, I am sorry!)
The star layout is my favourite.
I love the colour and the star lay out is just great.
