Lots of rows sewn

This may not look different from last week..............
but the rows are all sewn one way now. I sewed 2 rows before I left to teach my class and the other 5 rows last evening. I still need to choose the setting triangle fabric and sew on the triangles before I can sew the rows together. I think I want some pale color for the triangles. I was thinking of periwinkle blue or apricot but I need to audition them and if necessary, change my choice.
This is the pile of 4 patches left over, seeds according to my friend Rosemary. Seeds for the next project. I don't know why I sewed a whole new batch of 4 patches when I had so many in the box already sewn. The strips were already cut so I must have thought I would need them.
I only have 27" of binding to finish on the queen size quilt.
*************
Today is vanilla 9 patch day so I hope to start designing on the wall. My dad's appointment with the surgeon isn't until 4 p.m. so I should be able to play for a good number of hours.

I really do love this simple traditional quilt. The value and the colors work so well! Plus we'll be glad to cheer lead you through finishing it - so "Rah - way to go!! You got more done!!" Its always hardest for me to finish up a top once the design and color decisions are done!!

This is such a striking design. What about using that creamy colour or something light like that for the outside triangles? It would make the design 'float' more? Just a suggestion.

Mary Ellen Hopkins would love all your 4 patches!

I love the argyle look of this quilt. I'd be tempted to call it "Out on the Links" as it makes me think of golfers for some reason!

Before you start another project with these I have a question.
did you possibly make extra with the idea they might be useful in a border?

You know....what I like about this picture is the way it drapes onto the floor. It really does seem like strings of beads that way.

Maybe it wants to be draped somehow and not used on a bed.

I can see progress on your beaded shower curtain. As always I look forward to your final choices.

Tell your friend Rosemary that we all love her term for your pile of blocks as 'seeds'.
