Plan B

Now I know why I didn't cut the last blocks for yesterday's problem quilt. The pieces that I have left over are not quite big enough to cut the squares in the size that I need. So Plan B will be to cut new centers for the 12 blocks that are swirling in the wrong direction and they can probably be used in the 4 corners of the quilt without being noticed too much.

Since I couldn't work on that I cut the binding for the Bento Box quilt and sewed it on last night.
I will have my 100,000th visitor this morning. If I can figure out who you are, I may send you some little treat. Watch for a second post today.

I love the colors on this quilt! I love batiks - I really need to get rid of some of my old stash and start to just collect batiks seeing as they are my favorites. Now that I have found your blog I will have to bookmark it and look at it some more.

I love the binding for your Bento Box quilt. I actually sewed yesterday and made some more strata for my "Fabulous" Quilt. Only 5 more strata to go to complete the blocks.

I can't believe you are going to have 100,000 visitors! Amazing!!

It's me! It's me! I've made one Bento Box out of Daiwabo Taupes and would like to make another from batiks. Yours is gorgeous.

Are you SURE you don't want to have all of us over for tea and batiks? I am SO excited to see your batik Bento Box bound and tossed over a chair... I have the pattern and have picked it up/put it down so many times... SO, as I cut the batiks for our king bed quilt, I am going to cut strips for a Bento, too... just GOTTA do it this coming year. :-)

There you go again...making lemonade out of lemons! Everything happens for a reason...your "errors" just turn the project into something different. You are AWESOME! Hope you find your 100,000 visitor..truly a milestone.

I too love the binding on your Bento Box quilt. The bindings are always the "frosting on the cake" I think.

100,000th visitor ! ! ! So great to have such a grand following.

Hi Wanda
Your quilt is positively glowing in the photo! Is it the camera? the lighting? the batiks that never take a bad photo?
Congrats on 100,000 visits. How long have you done your blog? I have only visited in the past year or so, but I'm just starting to get a clue about blogs.
