Jack Frost visits again

Our temperature dropped from 34 degrees yesterday to 0 this morning so Jack Frost visited my kitchen windows again. Click on the pictures for a closer view. This one below looks like a fern garden.

Jack works all the way around the corner of the window.

My company didn't come from North Carolina. I wonder why. 0 degrees here, 60 degrees there, hmmm. Hopefully we will get together in warmer weather. They can enjoy the pictures of Jack Frost's work on my blog.

Mother Nature is such an artist! I think she sent her apprentice to my house, though, because out windows just had an icy glaze with no artistry whatsoever.
Hope you are enjoying the holiday!

Those pictures are so pretty -- but I know it means it's bitter!
We're supposed to have a cold day tomorrow, around -8, followed by a day around 50! Then back to the cold.
Stay warm!

Very cool photos! I'm sorry your company didn't come but I surely understand! Today was a beautiful day here. I love this time o fyear because there are no allergens and I can take long walks outside - which I did today in a very light jacket. Maybe you should go South next Christmas.

Fantastic photos, Wanda ~ our son/wife flew from here to NC to be with her parents for Christmas. So sorry to hear your company stayed home and missed the frosty magic...

December 21st, shortest day of the year! And since, each day is a bit longer and soon those frosty window panes will only be a memory (LETS HOPE). You have had quite a winter already and yet is there more to come?

Love your Chistmas memory quilt. Nicest Christmas greeting yet. I received several Christmas cards via e-mail this year. Times are changing.

Merry Christmas, Wanda!
Keep warm ...
Your window panes look etched with evergreen boughs. Maybe a new quilting pattern?

How very beautiful. Such a simple thing and yet I never pay it much attention. That's what makes you an artist and I thank you for a year filled with great inspiration.
Merry Christmas Wanda

Merry Christmas Wanda. I love your photos and remember that it was your photo taking that made us meet for the first time so many many years ago.
Remember?
Thanks for being you and especially thanks for having such a great blog, where I can visit with you when I get lonesome. Often.

These ice flowers are beautiful! I can't remember when I last saw some here. They don't seen to appear on our double glas panes.

don't you just love the pretty pictures of frost - brings back memories of years gone by where I grew up in WI and later lived in CT and ID. Now here in the south we do not have Jack Frost visit the windows! miss that
