20 blocks plus 5..........................

The 20th block was finished first to fill in the spot on the bottom row.  Now the blocks need to be moved to a larger design wall to finish designing.  The decision I need to make now is where to place the last 2 rows: top and right, or bottom and left.  If I choose top and right, the 'center' will move in one row each way.  If I choose bottom and left, the 'center' will stay where it is and the design will just continue as it is.

Meanwhile I got 5 of the last 8 blocks sewn.  All of the pieces are chosen for the last 3 blocks so it shouldn't take long to sew them.

We have been in a period of 80 degree days (2 more to go) and by Saturday they are predicting 56 for a high.

You've almost got all the blocks ready to design with, Wanda--that should be a fun process:)))
80!! Wow we haven't seen even close to that in the past 2 weeks here...53 and overcast this morning with winds out of the East...
Hoping for some sun later on...I may be able to begin machine quilting one of the "Littles" today--will give it a try to see how my hand reacts...hugs, Julierose

I’d see what top and right looks like first as I think it would look good but with the blocks so large, then again maybe not. We have been having cooler weather than you are having and it’s definitely looking like fall here.

This will be a fun one to play with to get the layout just right. I watched the Green Bay/Bears game that was in WI and it was warm and sunny there. Sunday it was overcast and rainy here. A couple more days in the 80's will be good for your tomatoes!

Excellent progress - and fast! Love the growing quilt and am glad you have options for those last blocks. Have fun deciding where they should go!
In the coming week we'll have one 91*F day and two nights with lows near freezing. Is that nuts or what?

Hugs!

you will get it figured out. here it is predicted for 40 degrees at night in a week. We will see as it has been no where near that since late March of early spring.
