I present a busy fantasy garden to get me through the winter. This one is like my porch pots and flower gardens, packed edge to edge with color. It is 54.5" x 65". I have enough of the border fabric for the backing too. I'm hoping I have enough of the stripe for the binding.
I finished making the neutral blocks and got the top sewn together by 10 last night. I'll press it today for the full photo. It is 42" x 66". I have to decide if I am going to add any more width, maybe in brick shapes.
The best part of this one is the empty project box. There are 3 blocks leftover, some triangle squares and a few loose triangles.

Just WOW! Both quilts are beautiful, but what a difference between the two.

That top is a riot of color and I love it! The neutral top is coming along and is beautiful!
lots of color in that first one - no one can say it is dull :)
Three Cheers for an empty project box!!
I agree with you Wanda, this quilt top is a gorgeous burst of blossoming fabrics and design. You did it again …. And I’m anxious to see your serene neutral up on your design wall.

Great contrast between these two--I love the floral border--so nice and scrappy...they are both such pretty pieces hugs, Julierose
Love both quilts. The flowers inspire me to make something for a new grand on the way.
What a glorious floral quilt! It will be perfect to add happy color, warmth, and cheer to winter days.
How about using the leftover bits from the neutral quilt to piece into the backing, border, or border corners?
Hugs!
Your garden quilt is an explosion of color. Using the border fabric on the back will be good. The stripe for the border will, too. Congrats.
I love your cheery fantasy garden quilt...and your neutrals quilt! By the way, could you send some your energy my way? You seem to have a new quilt completed every day.
What a beautiful quilt top! Love it!!!
Oh so happy that you went with your beautiful border choice, I love it, complements the colourful stars beautifully.
Wonderful flower garden in the depths and darks of winter. The binding will finish the look.
Absolutely love the finished quilt top - an indoor flower garden is SUCH a good idea any time of the year, but especially in the winter months!
That's a perfect border!
