Grocery shopping and putting everything away took up the first hour and a half yesterday, before breakfast no less. It took a while to get into the swing of what I needed to do and I tried to clean off a table while looking for more yellow fabrics for the quilt top in progress. I ended up with 4 more yellow fabrics instead of 6 and cut 2 strips of each. I repeated 2 of them in the stratas in the photo. It got too late to press them and cut the blocks so I'll do that this morning.
The weather predictors are saying we will have some snow tomorrow. The largest part of the storm will be south of us and it looks like IN and OH will get the deeper accumulation. I haven't missed shoveling snow off the sidewalk and porch so far. I need to fill the bird feeders and then I can hibernate inside.

The onion ring fabric add such a fun kick to this quilt!
Pretty yellows you found to add to the mix.;)))
We had snow showers yesterday--but no accumulation...and we have actually seen a little peek at the sun this morning before the clouds have come in...34 degrees out there...strange Winter here...hugs, Julierose
we are to get snow too - the question is how much of a variation will it be from my family in the northern part of the state to be in the lowest region of the northwest part of the state
Love those happy yellows!
No snow for us in this part of Virginia tomorrow. We'll have rain and, as a matter of fact, we've had no snow this winter at all. Odd winter, indeed.
Hugs!
This is the best use ever for the onion ring print - you've done the before and also used it as sashing. Always a winner.
And you still had enough energy after an early morning grocery shopping trip, to look for more pretty yellows and then stitch them up as well. Shopping anymore tires me more than my 2.5 mile daily walk.

Ah, such sunshiney yellows on such gray days. Glad you had enough energy to sew them.
