Monthly recap for September 2021

I had two finishes early in the month of September.  The one of the left is 39" x 47" and the one on the right is 29" x 41".  That gives me a total of 12 quilts and 3 tablerunner finishes for the year.  I have made 20 quilt tops this year, sold 6 of them and quilted 5 and gifted one of the finished quilts.

I probably could have gotten the Coneflower 16 patch sewn together but decided to get some outside garden work done instead.  I hope we have a lot of rainy days in October for the sake of our trees, bushes and perennials and of course for the forced sewing days.

Those are two pretty quilts you got done. It is good to spend time outside since the nasty weather will be showing up soon.

Yes, I am torn between wanting to quilt, but needing to get the outside work done while the weather is good. We've cooled down quickly and you can really see the change in season in the plants and the light.

September finishes have such a lovely soft glow. Amazing how all those little squares turn into lovely blocks that blossom into magical quilts.
