I steam pressed the colorwash wallhanging from the back side and then trimmed it. I found a binding fabric and cut the hanging sleeve. Now there is no excuse for not finishing it.
Next I decided to sew the half square triangle for the Bear Paw block that I was happy with.
The claw part of the block is sewn so I might as well go ahead and sew some more.
And now the first block is sewn.
I think I'm going to change out some parts on the other Bear Paw block so it remains on the design wall.
I put individual blocks of the older project on the design wall to simulate the zig zag layout. The right bottom portion also looks like the Barn Raising so now I have a better idea how I will finish this quilt.

I love the barn raising scrappy quilt so far!
I am always blown away by how beautiful your piecing is using batiks. Batiks can be hard to sew since they are usually make of a tighter woven fabric. What kind of a needle do you use?
THREE pieces in progress ! ! ! Of course that is you… so you take off a day and BAM ! you come back with “exuberant speed” with new designs and blocks… always love your posts Wanda.

Those HST/4ps could be a frame around a Bear Paw block or two.
