An older inspiration quilt..............

This is the quilt that I made in 1990 using the same block that I am using for the Marcia Derse fabric quilt.  If you go to this post you can read the story about it.  This is an old photo taken with an early digital camera so I really need to get this quilt out and take a better quality photo with the camera I use now.

There was a cute little baby bunny in the back yard eating weeds.  If you leave enough weeds in the grass the bunnies don't bother the good plants....my theory anyway.

The 1990’s quilt is very pretty but I can see it now in your usual Kaffe fabrics. These new fabrics you’re using will be pretty. We have seen many more rabbits lately in our yard too.

Very enjoyable to see this 1990 rendition of your current quilt. I went back to the earlier post and it was fun to see the blocks and fabrics close up. I look forward to seeing this pretty quilt rephotographed.

It would be nice to photograph the two quilts together.

Love your lawn care theory! I agree that our older digital photos are not nearly as good as the ones we take now -- some of the quilts are still here and I could re-photograph. Others are far away and long gone so I have only the older photos (which is better than no photos at all).

It was a treat to go back and look at your original post of this quilt. It truly is a timeless creation. I love the blocks then and those you are working on now. Looking forward to seeing your 2018 version. I did see I left a comment in 1990 too (*._.*)

Oh, wow! I clicked on the link back to the earlier post and fell down a rabbit hole. Started looking at all the Prismatic Garden quilts and now I want to run and make one. Also reminded me to dig out the Quilts that Sizzle book which I bought used on Amazon after seeing the ones you made. You can be a terrible influence on people (but a wonderful inspiration as well).

The bunnies don't last long around here. There are a lot of birds of prey - owls, eagles, and hawks. I did see a very large rabbit the other day. I think it is way to big for the birds of prey to get it now.
