Baking day........

Yesterday was baking day for my granddaughter's graduation party.  I also dug out a couple dozen volunteer trees from my front garden.  They are popping up everywhere and the root is like a corkscrew so they can't just be pulled out.
I finished knitting a dishcloth with the prettiest tweed yarn.

I'd like to try one of each!!! I spent yesterday in the kitchen too... making salsas and prepping salads for a BBQ!!! Must be that time of year.

Great yarn for the dishcloth. I love it when I find an nice yarn for weaving. I am sure it is the same for knitting.

Even your cookies are organized in containers and inside the containers. You transfer your skills to everything around you!

Sounds like you had a busy and productive day. We've been fighting volunteer trees too. They can become unmanageable so quickly.

I have so many volunteer trees that I can never deal with them all - I have to try to concentrate on one area at a time and never get them all up - finally I will get some spray and start to attack them that way and I still do find them all! the joys of living in the country surrounded by trees - you like some of them but I do not want to live completely surrounded by a Forrest.

Didn't even got a chance to turn on my computer yesterday. Friday's post is delightful. Just love what you are designing with your triangles. I can see summer pinwheels spinning in the sun.

My gosh Wanda that is a terrific array of cookies ready to take to your granddaughters party. She is only fortunate young lady to have a gram like you. I know everyone will enjoy her party with those delicious looking cookies.

I agree that is the prettiest tweed cotton yarn I have seen in a long time.

I noticed that there is a red wall peeking our from behind your cookie containers...I am thinking of painting one of my kitchen walls red and am wondering if I would like it. Could you possibly post a photo showcasing the red wall in your kitchen to give me some idea of this effect?
