Cutting time...........

Yesterday a couple quilting friends came over in the morning and they helped me choose a border for a store demo quilt.  I got in a little cutting time while we talked.  I will need to have a separate box for each size triangle as I get more cut.  So far I'm cutting finished 2", 3" and 4" triangles out of scraps.  I love quilts made of all triangles so when the boxes are full enough I'll start sewing them.

I finally went to see Harry Potter's last movie and thoroughly enjoyed it.  The ending didn't seem exactly like the book so I had to reread about 20 pages to see where it differed.  My house seemed so quiet when I got home after the loud movie!

Looking forward to seeing the triangles all pieced. Yes, when you go to a movies, everything else does seem so quiet.

My son and I saw the movie on Saturday, and I did just like you did - went home and reread the last 20 pages or so!

movies are so loud it drives me crazy -- I need to start going through my scraps and cut them into useable size squares, triangles and rectangles then maybe I would use them up - just so many to go through - a project to last a month at least because it is mainly small pieces I am talking about. I would need separate containers also.

We saw HP in IMAX 3D, WOW it was great!

So, is this new quilt a mystery or are you going to show it to us? I am not so much of a fan of little triangles but am fascinated by what one can do with them.

Oh my, triangles galore!

Yes, sometimes quiet is nice, I didn't even turn the tv on yesterday until the evening news came on and I rather enjoyed it!

HI Wanda,
Yes, liked Harry Potter, but wish I had rewatched the previous movie to remember the set-up to this one.

Did you eat that tomato yet from yesterday's post? It looks so good I could almost smell it.

Looks like you might be getting some storms about now. Maybe there's hope for some rain for you. We've had rain all day, on and off.

Take care.

Hi Wanda, when I read your blog I googled Cherrywood Fabrics and found that they have a special on grabbags at the moment...order one get one free. I sent a query about shipping to Australia, got an answer very quickly (despite time differences). Getting 2 makes the shipping quite cost effective.
