It's a quilt top.......

I will take another photo with more light on it next time.  Some of the stars are dark, but not as dark as they look in this photo.   The quilt top is 38.5" x 48.5".  I will work on some borders next.

This is my favorite star.
The lime green and blue flowers are all from the same print.

Just gorgeous! I agree, I love that first block. But I am drawn to the one right next to it too... the pink!

It's gorgeous, per usual! Love it, love it, love it! You are such an inspiration to me! You are teaching me to stretch my comfort zone of color. I love scrap quilts and you do them so well with modern fabrics that just sparkle.

Beautiful stars. Just finished quilting my mystery star block quilt on my regular machine. Hope you have a mid arm to quilt with.

Love looking at your progress.

It is a very pretty quilt. I love the way you alternate the friendship stars with the plain corner stones. It really does seem to sparkle.
I've got my place closed up again today but there's supposed to be some relief later with a thunderstorm.

And what a FABULOUS quilt top it is indeed! Oh yes, I'm all about stars!

So interesting to see the variations in the center of the stars. More inspiration for us. Does Mr. Kaffe know of all the wondrous ways you use his fabrics? I'm sure he'd be impressed.
If you hadn't mentioned that the green and blue star parts were from the same fabric, I wouldn't have guessed.
Sweet quilt top, Wanda.

The star quilt turned out beautiful. I also love the one you do. Today was a no sewing day for me, but there is always tomorrow. Storms woke me up about 3AM but fortunately went right back to sleep. Have a good evening

Oh wow! Oh my! (Am I getting tedious? LOL)

Beautiful, as always. Lighter than most I have seen: the starts really pop out on all that white.

It seems like you just started making star blocks a day or two ago. Do you ever sleep? I like the variety of star centers to add interest. I like the fabrics for the same reason. The sashing is adorable too with mini friendship stars alternating with cornerstones. Terrific top!
