3 more blocks....
I did more playing than sewing yesterday. I made 3 more blocks for the QOV quilt that will be the sample for everyone to see. I only have enough of this red and this blue for 8 blocks and there will be 20 blocks in the quilt. That means that there will be several different blues for the pinwheels and that the red ones which are formed by the intersections of the blocks will be scrappy. If you missed this when I first showed it and the book, go back to this post.

That's going to look really super cool with the scrappies.
I am enjoying these photos. I won a 'lil twister' template a couple of months ago from Canton Village Quilt Works. I have yet to try it and it's fun to see what you are doing with the concept.
I really like this block, and scrappy is pretty nearly always good. I tried to figure out how these were cut, but....I guess I'm going to have to buy the book. LOL
I love scrappy so I think your blocks will look fantastic! I haven't been working on my quilting much lately either. Just playing with scraps and tidying up my work space. It's too hot! Have a great weekend!
I always love scrappy, but I especially like the idea of sqauring them up after they are sewn.
Scrappy is exciting. I can hardly wait to see the next photos!
I love scrappy quilts, so this will be fantastic, I think. There's something about that block that I really like.
The concept of this quilt is interesting. I like the way it all falls into place once it is cut up.
