Finish #2 for 2021.......

I finished another table runner.  This one is made from die cut pieces that I had a friend cut before I had a die cutter.  It is about 14" x 41" and it is ditch quilted and has a hand finished binding.

I don't normally choose a light color for binding but I needed something that went well with the backing fabric (also a Kaffe Fassett fabric) because I thought it might be used with either side up.  The light blue Aboriginal dots was the only thing I had that went well with it.  There are blues in the prints on the front too so it goes well with both sides.

Also yesterday I got the backing and batting for this quilt loaded on the longarm.

And I cut triangles for the corners of the warm color Kaffe collective 16 patch so I will sew them on today and get it photographed.

A few more strips were unpicked for the bottom of the Kaffe TAW.

Two more Crossed Canoe blocks were added to the pile.

And the day ended yesterday with a beautiful pink sunset.  Sunset is after 5 p.m. once again and that feels so good.

For your table runner, are those Drunkards Path blocks sewn together on the diagonal? Great design, especially in Kaffe!

I really like that table runner--great pattern...
We are awaiting a predicted blast of very cold air to descend upon us.
Happy I did my shopping on Thursday...we are double masking now...
Stay safe and warm Hugs, from a snow-covered landscape, Julierose

I love that table runner and yes it looks like it could be used on either side. The quilt on the frame is lovely too

Your table runner looks amazing. The quilt on the frame too! It reminds me that I should get back to doing a few more 16 patch blocks.

That table runner is quite colorful with plenty of movement. I've not done any curved piecing, but this might tempt me to try it.

I love your Kaffe TAW (it took me a moment to figure out what TAW meant!). I’m excited to see it finished.

I love your table runner....not sure which die you used...doesn't look like a typical drunkards path block. You are knocking them out here at the end of the month!!

The table runner is so pretty! That 16 patch you have on the long arm is gorgeous! It has been so overcast here there hasn't been any kind of sunset. It snowed on and off today, but thank goodness not much in accumulation.

Luscious Kaffe backing on your table runner, this is from a few years ago isn't it? Can't wait to see your finish with the Kaffe TAW in those bold, rich colours.
