My company had a flight to catch yesterday so they left mid morning. I did 2 loads of laundry and mowed the grass in 2 sessions. It was pretty warm but it cooled off with a gentle rain starting around 9 p.m.
I started cutting a new project, triangles of course. I will be cutting for a few days before I sew.

Glad you had a nice visit. Hard when family lives far away. Looks like a new project is starting to take form. Chris
now to get back to the normal routine - I find it always very easy to do that - it was nice to have that visit though wasn't it.
Sew you cut your triangles - you don't use some slick trick using only squares?
I, too, find quick immersion in heavy work to help with the separation of family. Nice you got to see the little one without all the hassles of travel.
Hugs
I'm sure that you had a wonderful visit. I'm looking forward to seeing that new project.
Now I know you have a magic machine I enjoy seeing your cutting efforts even more,I see the die conveniently cuts off the angles for easy piecing. I have just finished the fun of piecing blocks and have to cut out sashing by hand which is a good thing really as I might feed my husband instead today!
I might have to get myself a Studio cutter. It might improve my productivity.
The top fabric in those stacks of triangles is gorgeous! Whatever this new project is, it's going to be fun to watch come to life.
I think he looks like YOU!!! He really is a cute baby. Fun stuff, huh?
