those do indeed look perfect for that quilt pattern.
That pattern looks like it is a doozy. Have fun.
I'd say you have the perfect fabric to make the quilt. It looks like a really neat one. Can't wait to see yours!
that was an interesting find!
I think using leftovers can make a quilt that a person never even thought of. Leftovers push a person to step back and do more thinking and designing in their process of constructing a quilt. I find that very satisfying and I get a great sense of accomplishment. I know the quilt you make from these pieces will be a fantastic riot of color!
I love leftovers. I don't know if I could make a quilt like that without simplifying a bit. I don't like feeling chaos, but I don't like rigid repeating either. I always love your color quilts.
It really pays to go through those old boxes! Have fun with them.
That is the first quilt in the book that I want to make . . . too many others in line for now, though.
I shall live vicariously as you make your version!
Looks like a good start on 'Madness'. Only you would tackle such a detailed design like that. It will be fun to watch from my computer.
Showing your Cut wedges for Vintage Spin, and finishing your spring time violet and green dish cloths made for a pretty post yesterday. I do have some violets blooming and some pretty 'blue jump ups'.

These pieced units look like they beg to be a part of "Adding Layers!" MUST! GET! THIS! BOOK! LOL
Lovely fabrics and colors….nice surprise!
To me they look like what Gwen Marston calls "parts" for the "parts department." I have a hole box full of pieces of "parts" like that, anything that's been pieced, and then left over, often cut off a pieced item, sometimes extra blocks. Most of the parts were from my own projects, but many were left over from other people's projects and rescued by me from the trash.
A jump start, have fun
repurposeing. They will look good in that pattern
Can't wait to see you get to work on this one. It's wild!
