Miscellaneous

Nothing new, just the same photo but I wanted to tell you I chose the name 'Square Dance' from all of the suggestions by my readers.  I did laundry, ran errands and lots of other miscellany yesterday.  One of the things I did was count how many quilts need to be finished for my show in June.  14 of the ones my daughter and I chose are only tops so I have a lot of quilting to do.  A few need hanging sleeves too since they weren't originally intended to be wall hangings.  I will make them strong enough for hanging but easy to remove if they sell.

Great name for your quilt.
I am sure you will get the 14 done in time.

I think Square Dance is a great name for your quilt. It's really lovely. Don't forget to show us the chosen 14!

good name. I just whip stitch hanging sleeves (4-5"wide sleeve) on and have never had an issue when hung in a show-even a big quilt and they come off like a zipper w/a little pressure from seam ripper. --then I re-use em for the next quilt. 14 quilts! you'll probably need a day to just sew sleeves!

Oh, how I wish I could see them all! I know you'll get them finished. Having a goal seems to kick you into high gear! LOL

I like your new 5 Star header, too.

LOVE the name! Not only does it refer to the design, but also the exuberance of the colors and arrangement. Well done!

Thank you for yesterday's picture! I've often wondered what you looked like, and now I can put a face to the blog. Your grandson is quite handsome! Good looks obviously run in the family.

Sure wish I could see your show in Charlotte. If you ever have a show in the St. Louis area, please let us all know.

Square Dance fits it perfectly!
If anyone can get 14 quilts quilted on time, it's you! I hope you show them to us as you quilt them.

I love the way the squares 'float' on the background! Fabulous!

I love the name that you chose. It must be exciting to go into a show but at the same time stressful to get all the quilts together and hope you didn't forget something. I wish I lived in that area and could go to the show. Yesterday I went through my scraps and realized that I don't have many that go well together. Guess it is time to start shopping for fabric again.
