I started by cutting some triangles from the warm/cool fabrics, and the fabrics that had a 5" strip leftover got cut into 4.5" squares for the 4 patch quilt.
I had a busy day yesterday running errands, lunching with cousins, visiting Dad and more errands. I figured I needed a reward of playtime (and you all said it was OK!) in the evening while I watched NCIS. I have some tweaking to do but it was bedtime when I got this much up on the wall.
I have this many 4 patches left over but I think I'm going to stop at the size it is which I estimate to be about 51" x 69". I think I might fill in the edge with triangles of all one fabric like I did on the diamond quilt. I will only need to cut a few triangles to know if I like it, and if I don't I'll have multicolor out there.

Glad you used your playtime creatively!
My My Fun times ahead. We had better be careful of what we say. LOL Chris
I love seeing what you're playing with!
Looks like another fabulous quilt in the making!
Your play time was very productive. This is gorgeous.
You are going to have another gorgeous quilt!
Wow! Such a simple concept, with stunning results!
Love where this is going! I love scrap quilts - great mix of warms and cools, variety of prints - very nice!
If you really aren't going to use those excess four patches, I'd be delighted to mix them in with my leftovers for an upcoming scrappy quilt ... love how you alternated them with full size blocks!
Lovely! Very balanced and looks random until you take a closer look and see the color running down and across.
You take my breath away.... I enjoy your blog so much just watching you work. I mentally do it all with you and think now wasn't that fun ? (*._,*)
I could never keep up with you in reality... but in my mind I can.
This design with all your squares( or do you call it Argyle) is another dazzler.

I love what you have on the design board. It is so relaxing to me to "play" that way. I am also into NCIS, loved last night's episode.
That looks great. I know you'd do well! LOL It always amazes me how effortless you make it look.
I love how different 4 patches look when they are on point.
Just Lovely. All fabrics playing together so nicely. I like to watch you play with color and blocks.
