I sewed 2 of the stratas for my Trip Around the World. I know it doesn't look so great right now, but it will when it is made into the pattern.
Here it is again after it has been sewn into a tube, and with one end folded over to see all of the fabrics. I always make a little cheat sheet of the order of my fabrics. I need to have one more strata sewn before Friday so I can show all of the steps of construction.

Anxious to see the progress. I have wanted to do this and never started it. Chris
I look forward to seeing the process. Looks interesting. Will you show us a completed quilt top when you finish?

The pieces that caught my eye are the ones on the right especially the cream and red that kind of look like fern or evergreen. I can't wait to see how those work in the quilt. I think they will add a lot as well as all your choices.
my favorite color scheme.... green/pink and neutral!!! Can't wait to it done.

Very intriguing. I look forward to seeing the results.
Alright!!! I'm watching. :)
Ooooo what a lovely range of fabrics. This will be a beautiful quilt.
Always amazed at your combination of fabrics, fabulous.
I'm going to keep that cheat sheet idea in mind for future reference. Good idea. Like your arrangement of the colors.
Looking forward to seeing the finished quilt top. I love your fabric choices.
This is going to be fun to see grow into another of your master pieces.

The colors are lovely!
I think it looks very impressive already. I look forward to seeing it progress.
Oh, how I love the fabrics you've got in that strata! Gorgeous. I can't wait to see more!
Hi Wanda,
That trip around the world quilt is going to be gorgeous! I made one a few years ago, and they are trickier to do than they appear (I had to do some un-sewing at one point). It didn't help that my cats always like to help "arrange" things on my design floor.
Do you do the quilt in quarter sections, then put it together?
Looking forward to your progress...

Look forward to seeing the steps....
I surfed in from Muddliong Through and you have some beautiful work there. Exuberant Colour extrordinaire. I will try and take some of it in. Thanks for the inspirational posts.
Very pretty. Will be watching to see what this one looks like when sewn!
