I took several photos and none show the vibrancy of the hand dyed fabric in the border.
The center was made about 15 years ago to promote a class, and quilted about 8 years ago. I layered it on batting and added the borders and channel quilted them.
Check out the other journal quilts here.

Oh, I love that one! You're giving them some real competition over there.
I love this.
And I like the new font for your logo. It's very "exuberant."
Maybe you've had the font up for a while; I haven't had much time for blogging lately.
I LOVE that, Wanda! So CUTE!!
Wanda, I like it! It's great to see you posting one every Friday, I'm proud of you! Do you have a bunch of projects in mind ahead of time, or does the creativity just come at odd times?
Today's secret word is "jette," as in "I plan to do journals but I haven't started it jette."

love the colors, and the stitching on the flower... so so pretty!
Border and flower compliment each other. I enlarged to get a good look at the hand dyed fabric. Again your have create a piece of elegance. A simple flower, but your stitching on flower, background and channel quilting makes this another awesome piece.
